Peng’s latest project imagines a cross-realm collaboration with three influential Taiwanese theater artists who passed away too soon. Using spiritual mediums and traditional rituals, he seeks to uncover their unfinished works and bring them to life. The resulting film moves from black-and-white documentary to a vivid performance based on messages from the spirits—blurring the line between memory, imagination, and the afterlife.
