With a self-assembled pinhole camera, photographer Junko Theresa MIKURIYA takes pictures of food, people and other subjects, transforming everyday life into surreal expressions using the method of macro photography. With the rapid advancement of technology, cameras have largely replaced pen and paper, and in turn computers appear to have replaced the photo album. Within such an ever-changing environment, this exhibition presents a simple state of mind that remains open to the external world.
